2010 May first week, we had a trip to Kollur Mookambika temple. We started from Bangalore at morning 9.30 and reached the temple by 8pm. Given below the detailed route plan.Roads up to Shimoga was in good condition. But the remaining 12Okm drive is hectic. Nagara - Kollur is ghat road and must be very carefull, its through the dark forest, roads are narrow and has hairpin curves. I have no recommendations for stay, but Beena residency seems OK.
